A hundred times every day I remind myself that my inner and outer life depend on the labors of other men, living and dead, and that I must exert myself in order to give in the same measure as I have received and am still receiving. Albert Einstein (1879 – 1955) This storm was a beauty, we made it through with only 9-10″.  I say “only” because the forecast was for up to 20″ so we consider ourselves lucky.  It was light and powdery snow, making it a little easier to clear too.  DD and I set out to clear the driveway and steps, all was going well when the snow blower quit on me again… It quit on the first storm of the season, we are waiting for parts to help it limp along through one more season.  Ironically enough summer or fall is the best time of year …Read more

If everyone cared and nobody cried, If everyone loved and nobody lied, If everyone shared and swallowed their pride, Would we see the day when nobody died Nickelback I had to take a little hiatus from writing but I am back with more fun from school, home and especially the Holidays!  We flew to the West coast to spend Thanksgiving with family and returned with a bad virus which unfortunately kept me down for a week.  My state of adrenal fatigue makes me more susceptible to colds when traveling but I did not expect to get this sick.  I will keep on the self-care track to rebuild my strength.  I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving and Hanukkah!
