What a wonderful time of year! I love fall almost as much as I love spring. The colors were amazing this year and I have enjoyed them even more with the frequent trips to pick up DS at college. So we set out to decorate our house for the first post-construction Holiday and did not manage to do it all but had a beautiful home to welcome the 4 Trick-or-treaters! We did not empty and carve the pumpkins but carved into them. We had 5 leafy pumpkins and one smiling Cat Warrior jack-o-lantern. Most of the gourdes disappeared long before Sunday as the chipmunks and squirrels nibbled on them. I got the idea for the pumpkins in a Gooseberry Patch magazine and also on Martha Stewart’s site.
