Happiness is where we find it, but rarely where we seek it. J. Petit Senn A day later with my menu than usual, I have been working on my pantry and made the last few days “eat out of pantry” days instead of my scheduled meals.  It has been both fun and a source of peace of mind to have the menus and follow them.  DD is in the kitchen every time a new meal is cooked  and even looks forward to leftovers!  I am going to plan slow cooker meals or larger meals again to restock the freezer. I hope you had a wonderful Holiday season .  I have been silent the last few weeks; I did not have the energy to keep up with the blog and all the wonderful work for the holidays as I wrestled with sinus infections again.  I will post the menus though and some thoughts over the next few days. I am neither a fan of New Year nor resolutions but this year I might be making an exception…  The bout with the virus and slow recovery, showed me how depleted I am.  I just closed a long running, very emotional project, and it is time to continue the regrouping with more serious work.  The timing just happen to coincide with New Year’s so I guess I actually have a resolution for 2011: return to health and balance in life!  It is a tall order, I have found it so difficult to …Read more
