You walk through the gates and step into a different world, a world of an era gone by, life slows down and you are engulfed by the sounds and smells, nothing else matters but enjoying the here and now with friends and family. There is so much to see and do: the food, the animals, the exhibition hall, the rides… DD and I met two other families and with DS off to college we now form a group of nine girls! It was “bracelet day”, one price for unlimited rides and the carousel had to be the first ride of the day.
